Artists in the Community Community Arts

Community Arts & Artists

Community Rites are multi-media art events, installations and performances synthesised through interaction between artists and the communities. Taking art out of the galleries, community art allows us to experience art and attend artistic events in a new context. Through modern rites of passage, the community is initiated and empowered into the artistic mystery.

Learning Through Arts in the Community

Artists in the community facilitate learning, participation, growth and change through interaction with participants. Each event is as unique as the community in which it occurs, reflecting contemporary culture, history and needs.
